Inspired by Japanese Zen, Central European Surrealism, and John Cage\u2019s prepared piano pieces, he joins longtime collaborator Ivan Fatjo in a dreamlike duet exploring the unconscious. Wearing white masks and black hats, the performers move between the animate and the inanimate, the human and the puppet, the material and the immaterial. Drawing on his background in visual arts, mime, and martial arts, Nadj creates a world where the body transcends its physical limits. Dialogues in a Dream celebrates the enduring artistic bond between Nadj and Fatjo, collaborators since 2007, while deepening the explorations begun in Unknown Landscape, inviting audiences into a rich
